Janet Comenos
Janet Comenos is the co-founder and prior CEO of Spotted Media, the parent company of SpottedRisk and Media Guarantors; she is currently the film and TV completion guarantor at the latter. On top of entertainment risk, her expertise includes sales and strategic account initiatives. In 2021, she was awarded the Insurance Insider Broking Initiative of the Year for the SpottedRisk Covid Film & TV Insurance Program. Janet holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a research fellow and a concert pianist. She serves on the Risk Management Advisory Council of the University of Southern California and teaches two entertainment risk classes at USC’s Marshall School of Business each semester.
